A new Nike collaboration is set to launch, this time with One Block Down, a sneaker store from Italy. The Nike team released official images yesterday of two of the three colorways. In addition to these, there is also a third silver pair ("Matte Silver"), most likely sold exclusively by One Block Down.
UPDATE 09/20/2024: The third One Block Down x Nike Air Max Plus pair has been officially unveiled by the Italian retailer. It turns out to be the reversed “Dracula” colorway, and not the “Voltage Purple” one initially speculated in this article.
The inspiration behind these pairs is the OG TN colorway pack. The color schemes are identical to "Sunset", "Hyper Blue" and "Voltage Purple", but they are completely inverted. The effect can be seen when you reverse the original Nike TN color set.
The collaboration uses the gradient featured on the most famous Nike TN color schemes, but offers contrast through a black sole (or a partially black sole, as we see on the orange pair).
The most important detail of the collaboration is the 3M logo applied on the toebox with the store’s name. Besides this logo, the pair comes with standard 3M details specific to the TN line. All pairs also feature the store’s logo on the insole, inside the shoe. The box also has this name printed on it, in the same font used for the “Just Do It” text.
The first pair is blue, featuring a gradient into dark blue across the entire upper. The panels and cage are white, while the mini Swoosh logo is light blue. The lining is completely white, as is the tip of the tongue. The sole is entirely black, with just a white accent under the Nike Swoosh logo.
The second pair comes in orange, featuring a gradient that fades into dark orange on the upper. The panels, cage, lining and tongue tip are also white, just like on the blue pair. The midsole is half black, half white, while the outsole is black.
The last pair is most likely silver with green, however at the moment Nike has not released official images of it. We expect it to be released exclusively on One Block Down.
Considering that the first two models from the collaboration represent the “Sunst” and “Hyper Blue” color schemes reversed, the third color most likely represents the “Voltage Purple” colorway reversed.
When is the One Block Down x Nike Air Max Plus Pack releasing?
The One Block Down x Nike Air Max Plus collaboration is releasing during Fall 2024 on Nike.com and at select retailers. At the moment, the two brands have not yet announced a release date. For sneaker news, follow the Sneaker Market România blog on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Google News.
