Nike has recently published official images of the Nike Air Max Plus "Tough Red & Black", confirming the pair is part of the upcoming Fall 2026 lineup. The colorway turns the familiar Tuned Air silhouette into a classic red-and-black gradient-inspired release.

The pair comes with style code DM0032-601, an official "Tough Red / Grey Fog / Black / Mystic Dates" colorway, a $190 retail price, and is currently expected to release during Fall 2026. Its woven upper starts with a brighter Tough Red across the toe and forefoot, then gradually deepens through darker red and burgundy tones toward the quarter panels, collar, and heel, bringing the Grey Fog and Mystic Dates shades into the shaded transitions. Glossy black TPU ribs sweep over the mesh from the toe to the rear of the shoe, forming the Air Max Plus' signature web-like cage, while black mesh and textured synthetic overlays define the eyestay, mudguard, toe cap, and heel. Black laces, a padded black tongue, and black edging keep the build grounded, with a small white Swoosh providing a clean flash on the lateral side. Underfoot, the black sculpted midsole holds visible forefoot and heel Air units tinted in deep red, and the black outsole finishes with yellow traction pods that add a restrained contrast detail.
