Nike Air Max Plus SE “Sail & Racer Blue” returns in Summer 2027, nearly a decade after its Fall 2018 release, bringing its special edition look back to Nike’s seasonal lineup.
According to multiple internal documents, Nike is re-releasing the "Sail & Racer Blue" color scheme during Summer 2027. This edition will be releasing with the same style code used on the 2018 version.
The pair comes with style code AR4251-100 and an official "Sail / Racer Blue / White / Chamois" colorway, and is currently expected to return during Summer 2027. The upper stays in a soft off-white palette, combining diamond-textured mesh with smooth molded overlays that sweep in flowing lines from the toe toward the heel. The layered cage gives the profile its defining rhythm, while subtle tonal markings appear across the sidewall and heel counter. Bright blue Swooshes provide the clearest contrast on the lateral sides, and matching blue tongue badges continue that accent up top. From above, matching blue Nike Air branding stands out across both insoles, while the rear view adds yellow-orange TN Air badges with small red circular details. Underneath, the sculpted white midsole exposes multiple air windows, including smaller forefoot chambers and a larger heel unit with warm amber, red, and blue internal accents. The outsole finishes with a mostly off-white tread, yellow-orange heel pods centered in red, diagonal forefoot grooves, and the familiar TN Air badge near the midfoot.
When is Nike Air Max Plus SE "Sail" releasing?
Nike Air Max Plus SE "Sail" is releasing during Summer 2027 on Nike.com and at select retailers. The official release date has not been announced yet. However, we already know that the model is part of the Nike Summer 2027 seasonal catalog. Nike's Summer 2027 rollout window spans April to June.
