After multiple rumors about a 2024 release, it appears that Nike is set to launch the Nike Air Max Plus "Hyper Blue" again during Spring 2025.
UPDATE 24/01/2025: Nike released the new Nike Air Max Plus "Hyper Blue" today. The pair is available on Nike.com in adult sizes, priced at 949.99 lei. The model is also available in kids' sizes, from 35.5 EU to 40 EU, priced at 729.99 lei.
According to several sources such as bubblekoppe on Instagram, the Nike Air Max Plus "Hyper Blue" pair was initially scheduled to release during Spring 2024. However, it is possible that Nike has postponed the launch by another year. As a result, the Nike Air Max Plus "Voltage Purple" released in its place during Spring 2024. New rumors and internal information speculate that the "Hyper Blue" color scheme may release during Spring 2025. The mentioned internal document lists the "Black / Chamois / Hyper Blue / Sky Blue / White / Midnight Navy" color scheme. This matches the OG colorway from 1998 perfectly. The pair will release in a men's size run from 6 US to 15 US.
Nike has not confirmed the rumors yet. Even so, the "Sunset" color scheme has been spotted in the JD Sports product catalog, therefore the release of the "Hyper Blue" color scheme would be the last color scheme needed to complete the pack of original 1998 colorways (namely orange, blue, and purple).
When is the Nike Air Max Plus “Hyper Blue” releasing?
Several sources initially speculated that the Nike Air Max Plus "Hyper Blue" would release during Spring 2024. However, according to new rumors, this color scheme may now release during Spring 2025. It will be available on Nike’s website and at select partner retailers. For now, Nike has not confirmed an official release date. Still, we can expect the pair to start appearing at some retailers beginning in January 2025. See below an image of the 2018 pair while we wait for official images and more release details.
