The Nike Air Max Plus Drift (the remastered version of the Air Max Plus) is releasing during Spring 2024 in the "Laser Orange" color scheme.
After 25 years, Nike has decided it is time to produce a remastered version of the successful Air Max Plus model. It remains one of the best-selling silhouettes in the Air Max lineup and is very important for Nike. The new version of this model is called the Nike Air Max Plus Drift, releasing in three different colors during Spring 2024. The "Laser Orange" color scheme features a mesh upper with a red-to-purple gradient, complemented by a black rubber “cage”. The tongue comes in purple, offering a good contrast with the aforementioned mesh. The Swoosh logo on the heel is red, while the Nike Air logo on the tongue stays yellow, just like on most Air Max Plus pairs. Both the midsole and outsole are black. However, the midfoot plate is finished in purple and red.
Although the Air Max Plus Drift is inspired by the Nike Air Max Plus silhouette, it sets itself apart from its inspiration quite easily. The shoe is wider, giving it a bulkier look compared to its predecessor. In addition to the shape of the shoe, the Swoosh logo is placed near the heel instead of being positioned in the center. The rubber elements on the upper have also been thickened compared to the 25-year-old model, while still being arranged in the same way – over the colored mesh that allows the foot to breathe.
When is the Nike Air Max Plus Drift “Laser Orange” releasing?
Although the release date has not been announced yet, we expect the pair to launch on Nike.com during Spring 2024. See the official images below while we wait for more details about the release from the brand or its retail partners.
