According to multiple sources, Nike Sportswear is set to launch a new Nike Air Flightposite in the original "Metallic Gold" colorway during Winter 2024.
The "Metallic Gold" color scheme is one of the original colorways of the model released in 1999. Worn by Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, the Nike Flightposite is one of the most sought-after models among Nike collectors who are passionate about basketball. Initially designed for performance, the model is now part of Nike’s lifestyle catalog. Last released in 2008, the model is returning to store shelves after 16 years. The shoe comes with a black upper with metallic green, despite the "Metallic Gold" name. Around the tongue area, the sneakers feature a neoprene layer with a zipper. The Nike Swoosh logo appears on both the tongue and the heel. Both the midsole and the outsole are colored in black.
