According to multiple sources, Nike Sportswear is set to release the Nike Air Flightposite QS "Jason Kidd" during Winter 2025, a model that was originally launched in 2008.
The "Mavericks" color scheme was initially released in limited quantities in 2008 exclusively at House of Hoops stores. Worn by Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, the Nike Flightposite is one of the most sought-after models among Nike collectors passionate about basketball. Originally designed for performance, the model is now part of Nikeâs lifestyle catalog. The "Mavericks" (or Jason Kidd) color scheme is returning to store shelves after 17 years. The shoe comes with a dark-toned, predominantly metallic purple upper. Around the tongue area, the sneakers feature a neoprene layer with a zipper. The Nike Swoosh logo appears on both the tongue and the heel. Both the midsole and the outsole are done in black.
