One Block Down and Nike Present the Air Max 95 Lux “Italy”

Every One Block Down project starts with a point of connection. For its latest collaboration with Nike, the Milan-based retailer looks to Italy’s longstanding ties to football and footwear craft, revisiting a premium Air Max project through a contemporary lens.

Nike Football’s relationship with Italian shoemaking grew throughout the 1990s, shaped by the country’s approach to materials, construction and detail. That exchange helped establish a shared view of performance and premium product that continues to inform Nike design. The Made-in-Italy Air Max 95 Lux, which was introduced in 2001, brought the sensibility into one of Nike’s most refined footwear projects, and One Block Down set out to extend its story rather than reproduce it.

One Block Down keeps the Lux foundation but gives the Air Max 95’s flowing lines a fresh padded form. The range spans four options: the heritage-minded Black and three tricolour expressions in Red, White and Green. Italian leather lends each pair its material character, while locally developed digital gradients distinguish the three brighter editions.

The footwear is joined by technical apparel informed by Nike Football’s visual archive. The “Dorito” identity and Total 90 appear in a new product language across a jersey, jacket, trousers and two skull caps, rather than appearing as direct reproductions of archival pieces. Total 90’s symbol is reworked as “09,” referencing One Block Down’s founding year and the idea of giving everything from day one. Contrast stitching brings the Italian tricolour into the apparel, with the Training T-Shirt also carrying internal tricolour tape.

A three-part launch campaign follows the collaboration through movement, craftsmanship and community. The opening chapter takes cues from Italy’s automotive heritage and its mix of engineering and collective energy, and the second focuses on technical expertise and the discipline of making. The final chapter turns to Global Neighborhood, One Block Down’s belief that culture grows stronger when shared. Italy provides the cultural lens for values the retailer considers its own.

When is the One Block Down x Nike Air Max 95 Lux “Italy” available?

One Block Down x Nike Air Max 95 Lux “Italy” will be available in the “Black” colorway alongside Nike Football-inspired apparel on November 13th, 2026 at 12:00 CET through One Block Down’s online store and via their Milan flagship store at Piazza Armando Diaz 2, while the Red, Green and White colorways are set to debut in highly limited quantities only at the flagship store. The “Black” colorway then reaches Nike SNKRS and select retail accounts worldwide on November 19, 2026 at 09:00 CET. The November launch places the collection in Holiday 2026, spanning October through December.
