Kith & Messi for adidas Football Present Footwear Collaboration

Kith and adidas Football present an exclusive footwear collaboration designed by Ronnie Fieg and Lionel Messi to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Messi's debut on the world stage, as well as Kith's 15th anniversary.

The collection includes six silhouettes that pay homage to Messi's historic career through both performance and lifestyle lenses. The performance styles include the COPA Mundial 17 UltraBOOST, F50 Megaride, and F50 Walkable Cleat.

The COPA Mundial 17 UltraBOOST was first created and introduced by Kith and adidas Football in 2017 by hybridizing the COPA Mundial 17 upper with UltraBOOST tooling. This style features a snakeskin-embossed texture on the leather upper, vibrant blue contrast stitching, and chrome heel clips.

The F50 Megaride joins the iconic F50 upper with Bounce tooling. The upper features a black-blue gradient and is paired with a translucent midsole that changes appearance with the accompanying replaceable insoles. Asymmetrical Kith and Messi iconography can be seen on the lateral sides of the heels.

The F50 Walkable Cleat is inspired by the first adidas cleat worn by Messi during the 2006 World Cup. The synthetic leather upper features white-blue gradient artwork and is equipped with a Velcro tongue cover that hides the lacing system. The cleats are visible through the translucent casing.

The lifestyle models include two colorways of the Handball Spezial and a special deconstructed iteration of the Superstar. The Handball Spezial is offered in light pink and white colorways, both of which feature textile uppers with premium suede overlays, as well as gum sole units. The white colorway features asymmetrical blue and yellow Three Stripes on the lateral and medial sides. The Deconstructed Superstar utilizes a luxe leather upper with removed padding to create a lightweight version of the iconic silhouette.

All footwear styles come with a gift-with-purchase commemorative Lionel Messi trading card, with an extremely limited and randomized assortment receiving autographed and PSA-graded versions.

When is Kith & Messi for adidas Football Present Footwear Collaboration releasing?

Drawings open globally on the Kith App on Wednesday, May 27th. Select quantities will be available on Friday, May 29th at 11AM in store, online, and on the Kith App in New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo timezones. The collection released on May 27th, 2026.
