Nordstrom and adidas marked the opening of adidas at The Corner at Nordstrom NYC Flagship with a cocktail event honoring their national retail partnership for FIFA World Cup 2026™, the first World Cup to be hosted in North America since 1994. Guests gathered for light bites, cocktails, a branded martini ice luge, desserts From Lucie, and more.
The evening also included a COSSA New York upcycled jersey exhibit, live DJ sets by Goldie Harris and Rae Sada, custom laser engraving, heat press personalization, a campaign screening, and a newspaper display wall. Notable guests in attendance included Oscar Isaac, Hasan Minhaj, Ronny Chieng, Jack Innanen, Jess Xu, Lucy Freyer, Lola Consuelos, Marcel Ruiz, Aimee Kelly, Chelsea Henriquez, and Dorrit Li.
Spanning 35 Nordstrom doors nationwide, the partnership is anchored by an immersive adidas at The Corner installation at the Nordstrom NYC Flagship, a dedicated shop-in-shop at Nordstrom Downtown Seattle, and a curated adidas presentation across 33 Nordstrom stores in World Cup match cities. Nordstrom is positioning the partnership as a coast-to-coast destination for World Cup culture, with The Corner serving as the flagship expression of the retail story.
The Corner brings the sport-meets-style vision to life through an exclusive edit of the adidas World Cup assortment, organized by country and styled head to toe through a fashion-forward lens. The installation runs through July 26, while weekly activations at adidas at The Corner, Nordstrom NYC will feature country-inspired gifts, customization experiences, and sweepstakes celebrating Japan, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina from June 6 through a closing celebration on July 22. adidas at The Corner is available now at the Nordstrom NYC Flagship, Nordstrom Downtown Seattle, and 33 additional Nordstrom doors in World Cup match cities, as well as on Nordstrom.com.
