Yoon Ahn has taken to Instagram to search for an appropriate nickname for the upcoming release of the AF1, posturing the simple white/black set-up to receive nominations such as “Moon Knight”, “Angel Dust”, and “Snoopy”. Chances are, the one that will stick is “Phantom”, the official color in use for the latest installment of the AMBUSH Air Force 1.
Like the earlier royal blue and green strike pairs, this Air Force 1 Low by AMBUSH features a premium buttery leather upper construction, with the signature tailpipe Swoosh logos extending beyond the heel. Further AMBUSH branding appears on the insoles and tongue label in bold lettering.
When is the Nike x AMBUSH Air Force 1 Phantom & Black releasing?
In addition to the Phantom colorway is an inverted Black/White version that will release in advance on February 11th exclusively at Kith NYC and the AMBUSH WORKSHOP in Tokyo. A wider release date for both pairs is set for the 9th of March 2023.
