Nike has recently published official images of the Jason Williams x SLAM x Nike Zoom Hyperflight "Platinum", confirming the pair is part of the upcoming Holiday 2026 lineup. Jason Williams recently debuted the colorway at the SLAM Summer Classic Vol. 8 in New York.
The pair comes with style code JA7720-001, an official "Metallic Silver / Field Purple / Black / White / Ice" colorway, a $170 retail price, and is currently expected to release during Holiday 2026. Jason Williams wore the original Zoom Hyperflight during his NBA career and appeared in SLAM during that era. As Sneaker Files has mentioned, both Williams and Chris Webber also shared the magazine’s March 2000 “Double Platinum” cover, though Nike and SLAM have not confirmed it as the inspiration for this release. A smooth metallic-silver upper gives the pair a polished, futuristic look, with black textile tongues, laces, and padded collars creating a sharp contrast. Perforated silver side panels add a regular dotted texture, while angular black-and-silver side frames wrap the quarter and heel. Small purple Swooshes punctuate the forefoot, and the tongues split the branding between raised SLAM and #55 badges. The heel collars add vertically arranged JWILL lettering, while purple footbeds carry contrasting character artwork. Underfoot, an icy translucent sole frames the shoe with segmented traction edges, purple accents, and a visible purple heel insert carrying a stylized emblem.
