Nike Basketball is launching several teambank colorways of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro during Fall 2024, including the "University Red" colorway.
Following fans’ requests for more Nike Kobe models to be available at retail, Nike is responding with a “Teambank” pack, available at more stores in larger quantities, using color schemes that are easy to match with basketball uniforms. The new Nike Kobe 8 Protro "University Red" comes with an all-red upper, a white Swoosh, and a white midsole with red accents. The large Kobe logo on the heel is done in white, just like the one on the tongue. The athlete’s signature is also present on the heel in white. The model is releasing during Fall 2024 at specialty basketball retailers. In addition, the Teambank pairs will receive frequent restocks during every season in the near future.
When is the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “University Red” releasing?
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro "University Red" is releasing during Fall 2024 on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball retailers. At the moment, Nike has not yet announced an exact release date. However, the pair is part of the Nike Fall 2024 season, so we expect it to release between July and September 2024. A possible release date is September 6, 2024.
