Nike Basketball is returning with a new Kobe 8 Protro pack on February 8, 2024, this time in the "Aqua" and "Court Purple" colorways.
On January 26, 2024, it was 4 years since the passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gigi Bryant. Vanessa Bryant, together with the Mamba & Mambacita Foundation, agreed with Nike to release two new models on this occasion. Both models are inspired by the jersey numbers they wore – 2 for Gigi, and 8 and 24 for Kobe.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Aqua" comes with a white upper covered in a repeating pattern of the aforementioned numbers, colored in a light blue shade ("Aqua"). The same blue is used for the Kobe logo on the tongue, the signature on the heel and the outsole. The model is set to release in an extended men’s size run, from EU 36 to 50.5.

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Aqua" is releasing on February 8, 2024 on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball partner retailers. See official images below and check the list of stores where it is set to launch.
