Nike is tying its 2026 football story together through a campaign that moves from elite performance to street-level culture and community investment.
The brand's latest kit direction pairs Aero-FIT performance cooling with heritage-led design, with home kits rooted in each federation's DNA and away kits positioned as future classics. Nike is also extending the story with X2 capsules and Cryoshot makeovers that push the same football language onto the street.
Nike's X2 capsule pairs Canada x NOCTA: Les Rouges by NOCTA with Canadian Women & Sport, England x Palace: The Three Lions by Palace with Football Beyond Borders, France x Jacquemus: Les Bleus by Jacquemus with Sport dans la Ville, Netherlands x Patta: Oranje by Patta with Favela Street, Nigeria x Slawn: The Super Eagles by Slawn with the Bravehearts Ladies Foundation, South Korea x PEACEMINUSONE: The Tigers of Asia by PEACEMINUSONE with We Meet Up, and United States x V.A.A.: The Stars & Stripes by V.A.A. with Coalitions for Sport Equity.
Nike has partnered with seven federations, seven collaborators and seven community organizations creating the future of youth sport to unveil its X2 capsule collections — each an expression of football as culture, community and sport, reflecting national pride through style and a distinctly local POV.
Each collection is shaped by the federation and reinterpreted through the lens of the collaborator and the local community. Nike says the co-branded designs are meant to work in the stadium, on the street or anywhere fans gather, while the third partner in each project keeps youth sport at the center of the release.
The seven pre-match jerseys tied to the community organizations will be worn before friendly games by their federations, and the drop also extends Nike's football-boot archive into daily wear. Within X2, the brand pulled classic boots from the vault and turned them into everyday Cryoshot versions, encasing the studs in clear outsoles so the on-pitch language carries over to the street.
Examples include the Cryoshot Mercurial Vapor R9 x Netherlands x Patta and the Cryoshot Zoom M9 x USA x V.A.A., showing how the Nike X2 program turns archive football models into street-ready statements without losing the sport-first reference points.
