Nike is releasing a lifestyle version of Ronaldo Nazario's iconic Chrome Mercurial in the Cryo Shot Mercurial Vapor 1 OG version during Holiday 2026.
Nike has recently published official images of the Nike Cryo Shot Mercurial Vapor 1 OG "Chrome", confirming the pair is part of the upcoming Holiday 2026 lineup. Following the performance Mercurial Vapor 1's 2024 return, this Cryo Shot edition translates the 2002 Ronaldo Nazario favorite into a lifestyle silhouette. Initially scheduled to release during Summer 2026, the release has now been delayed for Holiday 2026.
The pair comes with style code IQ8161-001, an official "Chrome / Black / Hot Lime" colorway, a $200 retail price, and is currently expected to release during Holiday 2026. The upper uses metallic silver and gunmetal panels, raised wave-like ribs around a large black Swoosh, a pointed tongue, tonal grey laces, and Hot Lime lining, heel detailing, and a sharp side strip. The translucent sole exposes cushioning chambers, clear traction sections, and bright “Hot Lime” contact pods, while the insole adds orange wave graphics and Mercurial Vapor branding. Nike has not confirmed this upcoming drop, and the brand typically avoids confirming limited-edition launches this far in advance.
