UPDATE 17/08/2024: The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Shattered Backboard" is releasing during Fall 2024 in a full family size run. The product code for men's sizes is DZ5485-008. The pair is also releasing in Grade School sizes (FD1437-008), Preschool sizes (FD1412-008) and Toddler sizes (FD1413-008).

UPDATE 11/19/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via Twitter), the AJ1 "SBB" pair is scheduled to release on July 12, 2025. For now, Nike has not yet confirmed the release date.
At the moment there are not many details about the release, but several sources have already confirmed the rumors. It seems that the famous "Shattered Backboard" color scheme is returning during Fall or Winter 2025. According to the internal Air Jordan release calendar, the pair is scheduled for a possible restock toward the end of 2025. The "Shattered Backboard" pair was produced to remind us of the only game Michael Jordan played for the Italian club Stefanel Trieste. During that game, Jordan shattered the backboard with a one-handed dunk. The moment was caught on film and is famous in the basketball world.
The product code is likely to be the same, but this information has not been confirmed. The model is releasing in a menâs size run from 7 US to 18 US. As a result, this is a restock and not a Retro release. Given the currently low demand for the Air Jordan 1, it is hard to believe that the color scheme will sell out on the first day. On the other hand, this is one of the most expensive Air Jordan 1 pairs. As a result, it may still sell quickly.
Nike recently changed the product code for the Jordan 1 from 555088 to DZ5485. The product code had not yet been confirmed by anyone at the time this article was published.
