After 15 years since its initial release, Nike is bringing back the Nike Zoom KD 5 Elite "DMV" in 2027, with the first rumored colorway now pointed at a Summer 2027 rollout.
According to multiple internal documents, Nike is re-releasing the "DMV" color scheme during Summer 2027. The release information was published exclusively on Sneaker Market in collaboration with zSneakerHeadz. Nike has not confirmed this release, with the brand typically avoiding confirming limited-edition launches this far in advance.
The pair is currently expected to arrive during Summer 2027, and full product specifications remain unconfirmed. Bright Crimson covers most of the upper, while Volt branding hits the Swoosh logos and outsole, and a grey midsole anchors the look. Dark burgundy trim frames the collar and inner lining, and the translucent heel unit with red speckling and patterned Volt traction finish the build with the loudest contrast.
