Nike Basketball and Vanessa Bryant are collaborating with the China High School Basketball League during the Summer of 2025, launching a Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL.

This is not the first time Nike has collaborated with CHBL. In 2024, they released a G.T. Cut 3 in collaboration with the China High School Basketball League. According to several industry sources, they will release a Kobe Bryant signature shoe in 2025. The new model comes with product code IH0587-700 (Men's SKU). The pair comes in the "Lightening / Black / Soft Yellow / Dusty Cactus" color scheme. Although we know this colorway, unfortunately we do not know the color blocking. For now, Nike has not confirmed any rumors about the release. In general, the company avoids confirming rumors about limited-edition releases. Most likely we will start to find out information about the release during the Spring of 2025.
When is the Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL “Lightening” releasing?
The Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL "Lightening" is releasing during the Summer of 2025 on Nike.com. The pair may also be available at select Nike Basketball partner retailers. At the moment, Nike has not yet announced an exact release date. However, we already know that the new model is part of the Nike Summer 2025 seasonal catalog. As a result, we expect the release to take place between April and June 2025. Check out a mock-up below while we wait for more release details.
