Four decades after its original 1982 debut, Nike is bringing back the Nike Field General silhouette in a retro version.
First released in 1982, the Nike Field General was originally designed for American football. Although the model was highly influential during its heyday, the silhouette was largely forgotten and never reached the popularity of other product lines such as the Air Force 1 or Nike Dunk. The first Retro pair arrives in the "White / University Red" color scheme, also updating the materials used. The all-white upper is predominantly made from textile materials, with leather overlays on the mudguard and a red Swoosh logo. The midsole is completely black, just like the outsole. The model will be available in unisex sizing.
