Nike is launching the famous "Hot Lava" color scheme on the Air Tech Challenge 2 during Fall 2024, this time featuring a vintage-looking sole.
Starting during Fall 2024, Nike is once again producing the Air Tech Challenge 2 model. The most famous colorway, "Hot Lava", was last released in 2016, almost 10 years ago now. As a result, with its reintroduction into the seasonal catalog, it was also time for Nike to launch this classic, this time in a reimagined version. Andre Agassi has already been seen wearing the pair, even posting photos of it on social media. The reimagined "Hot Lava" color scheme keeps the original colorblocking, only changing the look of the sole. While the original color scheme comes with a white sole, the 2024 edition features a yellowed sole, delivering a vintage, aged look. The model is releasing in a men’s size run from US 6 to US 15 during Fall 2024. The product carries the Quickstrike (QS) label, which means it will release in limited quantities.
