Nike has recently published official images of the Nike Air More Uptempo '96 "30 Years Of Uptempo", confirming the pair is part of the upcoming Holiday 2026 lineup. The limited edition colorway celebrates the 30th anniversary of Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air More Uptempo ‘96.
The pair comes with style code IX8627-010, an official "Black / Sail / Anthracite" colorway, a $180 retail price, and is releasing on December 23rd, 2026. The Nike Air More Uptempo began as Scottie Pippen's signature shoe, and this anniversary edition replaces the classic AIR lettering with PIP in tribute to him. A black upper sets the foundation, with smooth cream overlays cutting across the perforated side panels and forefoot. The oversized cream lettering gives the style its defining contrast, while cream lace toggles and black-and-cream rope laces add a tactile finish. The padded tongues carry iridiscent badges with the Nike Uptempo logo, while the insole carries special “30 Years Of Uptempo” branding. Small black Nike swooshes appear on the toe boxes, while metallic silver swooshes brighten the cream heel panels. Underneath, the black midsole is broken into substantial segments with several translucent amber-tinted cushioning windows. A black rubber outsole completes the design with a large cream Nike swoosh, circular grip pods, diagonal grooves through the middle, and a vertical Air marking near the heel.
