Move over calcium, the power of the Air Max 95 does a body good. Taking inspiration from the human body and ’90s athletics aesthetics, it taps into “The Anatomy of Air” with skeletal colours and a bone-inspired midsole graphic. Premium suede puts a timeless spin on the streetwear icon, while a glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes it off with a flashy statement that’ll shake others to the marrow.
If not for its midsole, the colorway would appear rather typical from the outset. The upper starts with “Cool Grey” suede and gradates upwards to a “Summit White” lace unit, the transitional colors between crossing over a wide variety of textures. “Light Bone,” then, begins come into play; and while it may accent the tongue and heel, it serves a more important role on the sole unit, as it marks the skeletal details printed onto the fixture’s outsole and side walls.
