According to internal Nike documents, the Nike Air Max 90 "Escape" pair from 2002 is set to release again during Spring 2025.
Initially scheduled for Winter 2024, the Nike Air Max 90 Escape is now set to release during Spring 2025. Even though we do not yet know what it will look like, we can expect the pair to be similar to the one from 20 years ago, possibly with a reimagined twist. According to internal documents seen by Sneaker Market RO and House of Heat°, the pair is scheduled to release during Spring 2025 in a unisex size run.
The new limited-edition retro pair will feature the "Light Cream / Black / Light British Tan / Golden Beige / Soft Yellow / Sport Red" color scheme. Even though it is not identical, it is extremely similar to the "Natural / Black / Greenend Brown" color scheme seen on the 2002 version. However, considering Nike's recent releases, we can expect this model not to be identical to the original, but rather a version with certain modifications such as a yellowed sole or the use of cracked leather (or other materials different from the originals).
For now, Nike has not released any images or teasers of the Air Max pair. We expect it to be announced at the same time as the Nike Air Force 1 Escape.
When is the Nike Air Max 90 Premium Escape “Light Cream” releasing?
Nike is releasing the Nike Air Max 90 Escape during Spring 2025 on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear retailers. The pair will be available in a unisex size run from 3.5 US to 15 US, priced at 140 euros. For now, Nike has not yet confirmed an official release date. However, we can expect to see the pair on store shelves starting in January. Check out the 2002 pair below while we wait for official images of the 2025 edition.
