Nike is re-releasing the famous Air Force 1 Low "Playstation" from 2006 during 2025, a pair that recently sold for over 5,000 euros.
UPDATE 01/24/2025: After multiple release rumors, Brendan Dunne (from Complex) has confirmed that the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Playstation" is not releasing and that the rumor is false. According to him, the pair is not scheduled for release in the near future.
The information about the release of the famous model initially surfaced from Nice Kicks. They posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the possible restock. Unfortunately, for now we do not know whether the shoes will have any differences compared to the 2006 edition. The product code and color scheme are also not yet known. The model shown in the photos is a Friends & Family version, which was later released in a slightly different version in 2009. At the moment, the 2006 pair is selling for over 5,000 euros. The 2009 pair is also reaching astronomical prices, having recently sold for amounts between 2,000 and 4,000 euros. The difference between the two is the upper – the 2009 pair has an upper made entirely of patent leather. Later, Nike released a new version in 2018, which has much more affordable prices on the secondary market.
When is the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Playstation” releasing?
The Nike Air Force 1 Low "Playstation" is scheduled to release during the second half of 2025 on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear partner retailers. For now, Nike has not yet confirmed the launch, but it has been teased at certain live events on SNKRS. However, we expect the pair to release during Fall 2024 or Holiday 2024. See below images of the 2006 edition (via Sothebys) while we wait for more details about the launch.
On another note, Union LA is collaborating once again with Jordan Brand in 2025, launching a collection of apparel and footwear.
