Y-3 and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team have officially unveiled their full collaborative collection after first teasing selected pieces during Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week performance. The partnership expands Y-3’s long-standing mix of avant-garde design and performance sportswear into Formula One, positioning the project as one of the label’s most ambitious motorsport crossovers to date.
The campaign stars drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli alongside Team Principal and CEO Toto Wolff, shot in high-contrast racing light that moves from sunset into night. Design-wise, the capsule centers on a wolf motif rooted in Japanese mythology and tied to speed, instinct, and bravery, while also nodding to the wolf artwork that appeared on adidas F50 Tunit football cleats in 2006.
Beyond the wolf graphic execution across team and fanwear, the fan-focused pieces also introduce smoke-inspired prints that reference the visual intensity of race-day conditions. The collection is set for a landmark team-wide endorsement at the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, with additional details expected to follow as launch coverage continues.
