Slam Jam x Nike Air Max 97 "Black & Iron Grey" is releasing on October 31st, 2026 as part of Nike's Holiday 2026 sneaker lineup.
Slam Jam has recently published detailed images of the Slam Jam x Nike Air Max 97 "Black & Iron Grey" collaboration, confirming the pair is part of the upcoming Holiday 2026 lineup.
The pair comes with style code IX7919-001 and an official "Black / Iron Grey" colorway, and is releasing on October 31st, 2026. Slam Jam calls the collaboration “The Truest Form”, drawing on the raw textures of unrefined silver and the Air Max 97’s place in Italian club culture. The pair stays almost entirely black, combining smooth synthetic panels with textured inserts and a dense series of stitched, wave-like overlays that ripple from the toe through the heel. Iron-grey piping traces the central channel and adds a restrained contrast, while textile laces sit inside layered eyelet surrounds. Small Nike Swooshes appear on the lateral inserts, and oval Nike badges anchor the tongues with raised logos and visible fastener details. Woven pull tabs rise from the tongues and heels, reinforcing the utilitarian finish. Underneath, the black midsole is interrupted by long, clear Air windows that catch bright highlights along the sidewalls. The outsole continues the dark treatment with segmented rubber traction, deep flex channels, and geometric pods marked by crossed grooves.

The Slam Jam x Nike Air Max 97 “Black & Iron Grey” releases October 31st, 2026, at all Slam Jam doors and online. To celebrate, Slam Jam is hosting a party at Notorius in Turin during C2C Festival, with a lineup curated by Gang of Ducks. A retrospective fanzine on the Air Max 97 and Turin nightlife, made with Crack Magazine, will also circulate during the festival.
