Collaborating with the Amsterdam-based brand Patta, this special Nike Air Max 1 is inspired by Patta’s community centric approach. Placing people and education at the forefront, the box and hangtag feature the company’s ethos, “each one teach one.” The wave-like pattern on the mudguard reboots the legendary look, while splashes of Metallic Silver and a mini Swoosh on the toe bring the premium details you’d expect from this storied collab.
The design and construction of the shoes are consistent with the initial batch of four, with a full leather overlay on the modified mudguard and quarter and classic sport mesh in a silver/grey. The laces and tongue are set to match the clean white, while the embroidered logos at the fore-foot and heel match the silver hue. The midsole is treated with an aged exterior, exuding a yellowish tone against the white base.
