The NOCTA x Drake x Nike Air Force 1 is releasing on December 8, 2022 on Nike SNKRS and at select Nike Sportswear partner stores.
UPDATE: The NOCTA x Drake x Air Force 1 pair may be re-released on November 24, 2023.
Six months have passed since Drake released his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy”. To commemorate the occasion, the Canadian rapper prepared a completely white Air Force 1 together with Nike through his NOCTA brand, but unfortunately he was not able to launch the pair in time to accompany the album. Rumors claimed that the shoe had been scrapped due to production issues, as the sole features small hearts instead of the classic stars used by Nike on the Air Force 1, but the official images confirm the release of the model despite those rumors.
Similar to the NOCTA Hot Step silhouette he debuted in, Drake’s Air Force 1 comes in the already classic “Triple White” color scheme. At 35 years old, Drake made sure this Air Force 1 stands apart from previous releases during this collaboration, using premium leather both across the entire upper and inside the shoe. The “AIR” text on the midsole, added in 1982 by Bruce Kilgore, is replaced with the phrase “Love you forever”, and last but not least, the outsole features heart shapes instead of stars. Finally, NOCTA branding appears on the heel of the left shoe and on the insides of the shoes, and the collaboration comes with a special box that also includes a pack of beads with every letter of the alphabet for adding to the laces instead of a lace lock.
On another note, the Nike SB x Concepts Orange Lobster Dunk pair has just released.
