Nike x LEGO Collaboration 2025 Boosting Sport and Creative Play

Nike and LEGO are proud to announce a multi-year partnership that will celebrate sport and creative play, creating new and exciting opportunities for kids and families around the world. The LEGO x Nike collaboration will launch starting in 2025. At the moment, the official release date has not yet been announced.

UPDATE 05/29/2025: The first images of the new 1,180-piece LEGO x Nike Dunk High set (product code: 43008) have been published by the Japanese specialty website NikeLab. The collaboration launches on July 1, 2025. See below for official images of the new Nike Dunk set.

With a long history of supporting children’s right to play, both brands know that creative and physical activities are essential for children’s development. Both brands help kids reach their full potential by promoting key life skills that enable them to thrive as they grow.

A recent study by the LEGO Group showed that for one third of children around the world, playtime is limited to just three hours per week. According to the World Health Organization, only one in five children gets the physical activity needed for healthy development. Furthermore, 59% of parents who took part in a separate LEGO Group survey said they are afraid their children do not have enough playtime or access to fun activities.

“At Nike, we believe in the power of sport to move the world forward, and that starts with kids.” [...] “We are committed to creating a more accessible & inclusive future that inspires kids of all ages and abilities to be more active. Together, with LEGO, we’re excited to invite all kids into a new vision of sport and creative play.”

The initiative marks Nike’s latest effort to promote an active and inclusive world. This effort inspires all young people to play and reach their full potential. Nike is focused on removing barriers for youth, especially for girls. They are emphasizing quality coaching, increasing access, and addressing social barriers. Starting in 2025, Nike and LEGO are teaming up to create new opportunities for kids.

"At the LEGO Group, we believe in the power of play to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.” [...] "We are excited to partner with NIKE, Inc. on this journey and help reimagine how creative play and sport can unite. Together, we will create unique experiences that will engage and excite kids around the world, inspiring them to explore their imaginations.”

The partnership reflects the shared commitment of Nike and the LEGO Group to bring creativity, fun, sports, and imagination back into play and to inspire, engage, and empower children around the world.

The products from the collaborative collection have not been announced yet. However, we can expect to see more LEGO x Nike sets. The two brands have not communicated anything about apparel or footwear so far. Still, we can expect to see lifestyle products in the future, given that Adidas has previously collaborated with LEGO on both a toy set and a pair of Ultra Boost.

Taking all this into account, we expect Nike to release famous silhouettes in LEGO versions. Among these, we can expect the Air Force 1, Air Max 1 and possibly some Jordan models. Product details have not been confirmed at the moment. We will most likely find out more details starting during the Spring of 2025.

To mark the announcement of their partnership, Nike and the LEGO Group have created a special digital animation. The animation builds excitement and curiosity, bringing to life how sport and creative play will come together and showcase the iconic elements of both brands.

At the center is a specially created LEGO minifigure head, with the Nike Swoosh as its smile. It symbolizes the unique power of both brands through sport and creativity. The figure is surrounded by sports references and individual icons from both brands. These include the orange Nike shoe box, the waffle sole and Nike Air technologies, as well as the LEGO brick. There are also shared icons, such as the duck, the first product of the LEGO Group and a symbol synonymous with Oregon, the birthplace of Nike, the Pegasus horse, a nod to an iconic Nike footwear innovation, and of course a goat (G.O.A.T. – Greatest Of All Time), a reference to some of the most important athletes in Nike’s roster.

Starting next year, families around the world will be able to enjoy a range of co-branded products, content and experiences. The collaboration combines the imaginative power of LEGO bricks with Nike’s “Just Do It” spirit to invite all kids to play and to sport. For now, the two companies have not yet announced an exact launch date. We expect the products to be part of the Spring 2025 season. The collaboration will also extend throughout 2025, so we will see products released during the Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Holiday 2025 seasons.
