To mark the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, Nike SB is preparing a Safari pack that also includes a Zoom Blazer Mid.
Nike SB’s presence at the Olympic Games is not surprising at all. Starting in 2020, skateboarding has been one of the five sports added to the Olympic program. Also, for the 2020 event, Nike SB teamed up with Parra on the uniforms for the participating teams as well as on a highly sought-after Nike SB Dunk Low Pro for collectors.
Nike’s skateboarding division is preparing a Safari pack with several footwear models, including a Zoom Blazer Mid and a Dunk Low. The anniversary pack is influenced by the Safari pattern used on Nike SB footwear and apparel between 2000 – 2010, which also appeared on collaborations such as the first Dunk Low created with Supreme.
The Zoom Blazer Mid comes with an almost white upper ("Phantom") along with a dark-toned ("Anthracite") Swoosh logo, tongue, and heel panel. The same color is also used for the extra set of laces, while the first set is light blue ("Chlorine Blue"). The name used for the lace color is definitely a detail tied to the Olympic Games. The lining, as well as the Nike SB text on the tongue and the Nike text on the heel, are dressed in a familiar brown ("Monarch"). The "Monarch" color is used on many models such as the GTS Return "Safari" or the Dunk Low "Safari" from 2020.
When is the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Safari Chlorine Blue releasing?
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid "Safari" is expected to launch most likely around the same time as the Olympic Games, with a release date anticipated for July or August 2024. See all the official images below as we wait for more details about the launch.
