10 years after the initial release, Nike Basketball is launching a Kobe 9 Elite Protro "What The Kobe" again during the Summer of 2025.
UPDATE 08/25/2024: Recently, the product code for the Grade School SKU (HJ9446-100), produced in kids' sizes, has also surfaced. Although the color code is different, this difference between men's and kids' color codes is common for Kobe Bryant models. The color scheme for this product code is "White / Chlorine Blue / Black", almost identical to the "White / Reflective Silver / Chlorine Blue / Black" color scheme found on adult sizes.
Following the rumors about the Kobe 8 "What The Kobe" releasing during 2025, several sources have recently also confirmed the release of a Kobe 9 "What The Kobe". The color blocking is currently unknown, with the color code being different from the 2015 version. The brand has not confirmed the rumors and has not released any images of the new model.
