Nike Basketball is preparing a new Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low EM Protro colorway for Spring 2026, with possible inspiration drawn from the L.A. Lakers.
Nike Kobe 9 releases continue into 2026, and this new “Thunder Blue” pair is currently penciled in for March 1, 2026 according to multiple industry sources.
The pair comes with product code IH1401-401 and the “Thunder Blue / Daybreak / Laser Orange / Football Grey” colorway. This model comes with an EM label, which means it will use Engineered Mesh. Using a purple upper, the limited edition sneaker makes use of Laser Orange by highlighting the Kobe Bryant logo on the tongue, as well as the Nike Swoosh logo. Currently Nike hasn’t confirmed detailed about this upcoming release. It is likely that we will find out more details about the release in the near future.
