11 years after the initial release, Nike Basketball is launching the Kobe 9 Elite Protro "Masterpiece" again during Spring 2025.
Information about the new Kobe Protro first appeared on X (formerly Twitter), where Sole Retriever published the product code and the season when the pair is set to release. The launch was later confirmed by other industry sources. Originally released in 2014, the "Masterpiece" color scheme came from a collaboration between NBA legend Kobe Bryant and Nike’s Eric Avar. The basketball shoe uses multicolor Flyknit across the entire upper, contrasting with the black base of the shoe. The pair is releasing during Spring 2025 in men’s sizing from US 6 to US 18, priced at 240 dollars.
