Nike Basketball is finally bringing back Kobe Bryant's "Philippines" Nike Kobe 9 in Protro version, almost 12 years since their initial 2014 release.
Although it is too early to discuss an official release date, we have information about a new limited edition Nike Basketball release. According to multiple industry sources, the brand is releasing the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Protro "Philippines" during Holiday 2026. The information was published by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files.
The new model comes with product code IO6262-600 and is accompanied by a "Laser Crimson / Silver / Obsidian" colorway. Since the colorway is a match with the 2014 "Philippines" limited edition, we can safely expect a Protro version to be releasing in 2026. For now, Nike has not confirmed rumours about this release. Nike usually avoids confirming information about limited edition releases. We're likely to find out more information about the upcoming drop in the near future.
When is the Kobe 9 "Philippines" releasing?
TheNike Kobe 9 Low EM Protro "Philippines" is releasing during Holiday 2026 via Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball partner stores. For now the brand has not announced an exact release date. However, multiple industry sources have already confirmed the launch for the Holiday of 2026. This means the pair will release between October and December.
