A new Nike Air Max 1 model for men is set to release during the Summer of 2024 in the "University Red" and "Limestone" colorways.
For people who want a retro of the "Sport Red" color scheme, this colorway is the closest alternative. The shoe looks very similar to the original version, but the colors and materials have been changed. Although the two-tone outsole ("Black" and "Red") and the red Swoosh logo are exactly like on the original pair, the mudguard is now brown instead of grey. The toe area is also made from canvas, a fairly delicate material. The midsole has been slightly yellowed for this release. Inside the shoe, the Nike logo has been replaced with a logo that reads "Quality sportswear since ’72 – Nike Inc. Beaverton Oregon", which is also the nickname of this release, the Nike Air Max 1 "Since ’72".
When is the Nike Air Max 1 University Red Limestone releasing?
Although an official release date has not been announced, the Nike Air Max 1 "University Red / Limestone" may launch in May 2024. Check out the official images below as we wait for more details about the release.
