A new Nike Air Max 1 in the "Football Grey" colorway is set to release during the early Spring/Summer 2024 season.
During the pandemic, the "Football Grey" color scheme on the Nike Dunk was one of the most profitable for resellers. Used mostly on women’s exclusive products, men’s sizes were always hard to find. It seems Nike realized how well this color scheme sells, so they started using it on more models such as the Blazer, Zoom Pogo and, more recently, the Air Max 1. The shoe keeps the original 1987 colorblocking, replacing the bright red with the light, slightly bluish grey shade "Football Grey", making it the perfect choice for a Spring-Summer outfit.
