Nike Sportswear is preparing to launch a new Nike Air Max 1 ’87 Premium during Fall 2024 using the "Dark Smoke Grey" color scheme.
The new Air Max 1 comes with a predominantly dark upper based on black and grey tones. This time, Nike uses premium materials to construct the model. The upper is dark grey with black, featuring grey overlays. The mesh on the toebox is black, while the Nike Swoosh logo is dark grey. The mudguard is light grey, and the Nike logo on the heel is red. A red Nike Swoosh logo appears on the translucent outsole, with the same color also used on the logo on the insole. The color scheme is similar to the Nike Air Max 1 "Hold Tight" from 2006. However, this pair comes without the embroidered heel details. Another major difference between the two is the color of the Swoosh.

The Nike Air Max 1 ’87 PRM "Dark Smoke Grey" is releasing during Fall 2024 on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear retailers. At the moment, Nike has not yet announced an exact release date for the new colorway. The release is part of the Fall season. As a result, we expect the pair to start releasing from September 2024.
