To celebrate 10 years since the release of the 2014 Air Max Day anniversary model, Nike is launching a similar version in the "Royal" color scheme.
Before yesterday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards, LeBron James walked through the tunnel in a new pair of Nike Air Max 1 ’86. The new color scheme looks exactly like the OG "Royal" model, but features a fluorescent green ("Volt") midsole. In addition to the fluorescent sole, the pair also comes with a stitched tongue tag with the text "3.26", the date on which we celebrate the holiday dedicated to this model. The pair reminds us of the Nike Air Max 1 "Air Max Day 3.26" from 2014, which celebrated 10 years since its launch. The pair is set to be available in unisex sizes from 35.5 to 48.5 EU, priced at 799 lei. It is scheduled to launch on Nike.com and at Nike Sportswear partner stores.
When is the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 Royal 3.26 Air Max Day releasing?
Even though Nike has not officially announced the release date, we expect the anniversary edition to launch on March 26, 2024. See below the photo posted by the Lakers on Instagram with LeBron James and the official images while we wait for more details about the official release.
