Nike Sportswear is launching the iconic Nike Air Max 1 "BRS" during Fall 2024, this time using the shoe’s original 1986 shape.
The "BRS Powerwall" color scheme is a famous one among Air Max 1 collectors. The original 2006 release was limited to just 144 pairs, with the shoe commemorating Nike’s origins and its original name, Blue Ribbon Sport (BRS). Drawing inspiration from the classic shades of the first BRS models, the design uses bold metallic green, brown and pink. The 2024 edition uses premium materials of the highest quality. Compared to the 2006 version, the 2024 limited edition appears on the Air Max 1 ’86 model during 2024, this one staying true to the 1986 shape. Also, the quantity is not as limited, making it much more accessible than the version from almost 20 years ago. For now Nike has not yet announced an official release date.
