To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Nike pays tribute to the urban tradition of always keeping a toothbrush on hand for emergency cleanings. Long before the advent of modern sneaker wipes and cleaning solutions, sneaker enthusiasts would use toothbrushes to quickly scrub away dirt or dust that accumulated on the soles and uppers after miles of walking the city streets. While modern methods may be more efficient, the nostalgia Nike aims to evoke with this special release remains unmatched.
