The “Nike Sun Club” collection is quickly becoming one of the brand’s most extensive of the last year. Recently, the warm weather-inspired lineup introduced another Nike Air Force 1 Low.
Similar to the silhouette’s most popular colorway, most of the shoe indulges in a clean "colorless" look. Fabric on the upper heel and shark fin–styled cutout Swooshes, however, quickly place this low-top Air Force 1 in a special category, updating Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 design. The playful sidewall logos are joined by "NIKE SUN CLUB" messaging on the tongue labels, which replaces the standard "NIKE AIR" text. Underfoot, the kids’ option doesn’t stray far from the upper’s color palette, but its basketball-ready sole unit incorporates partly recycled materials, as indicated by the Swoosh wheel logos printed on the sockliners and the speckled finish on the midsole.
