With the Fall/Winter season gradually starting to set in, Nike has begun preparing well in advance for the upcoming extreme weather, outfitting many an Air Force 1 High in GORE-TEX materials. But now, with its most minimal colorway yet, the upgraded sneaker boot silhouette is seemingly forgoing the weather resistant engineering as it arrives bereft of any of the usual signifying text.
What remains, however, is the robust and visually rugged construction. The sole, which matches the black of the near full leather upper, is enhanced in size like that of the past options, its midsole extending outwards passed the heel. Smooth panels of the aforementioned material then mold the typical AF1 shape with slightly thicker Swoosh cut-outs as well as a strap replete with newfound branding and subtle patterned webbing.
