UPDATE 12/24/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via X, formerly Twitter), the Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" is releasing again during Winter 2025. For now, the brand has not yet announced an exact release date. However, we already know the pair will launch in a full family size run.
The Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" is a fan favorite among both Michael Jordan and Air Jordan 8 enthusiasts. The model was originally released in 1993, followed by a Retro version in 2003 and another in 2013. The edition releasing in 2025 will be the fourth edition including the original version (or the third Retro edition for this colorway).
The color scheme is made up of red, grey, white, and black. It is inspired by Bugs Bunny’s colors and also carries the “Hare” nickname. The upper is constructed from white leather and grey suede. The midsole features a red plate positioned at the midfoot and grey foam running the full length of the foot. The outsole is also white, while the details on the shoe are black and red. Last but not least, the tongue features the famous chenille Air Jordan 8 logo (a material that feels fluffy to the touch). The brand has not yet confirmed the release, but we expect them to launch during the second half of 2025. Just like the Air Jordan 8 Retro “Aqua”, it is possible that this pair will be available in full family sizing.
When is the Air Jordan 8 Bugs Bunny Returns releasing?
The Air Jordan 8 Retro "Bugs Bunny" is scheduled to release during the second half of 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner retailers. For now these rumors have not been confirmed by Nike, so the release date is not known. It is very likely that the pair will be part of the Fall 2025 or Holiday 2025 season. See below images of the 2003 Retro edition while we wait for more details about the launch.
On another note, the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Aqua" is releasing again during the Summer of 2025.
