Jordan Brand is preparing to launch a new original colorway of the Air Jordan 8 during the Summer of 2024, this time the Air Jordan 8 "Aqua".
UPDATE 21/11/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via Instagram), the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Aqua" is releasing during Fall 2025, after being delayed from the Summer of 2025. For now, neither the brand nor other industry sources have confirmed an official release date yet.
Last released 10 years ago, the "Aqua" color scheme is one of the most popular OG colorways for the Air Jordan 8. So far, the model has been released three times – in 1993, 2007, and 2015. The color scheme has also been used on other models, such as the Air Jordan 6 Retro "Aqua" released in 2023. News about the new release surfaced from zSneakerHeadz on X (formerly Twitter). He published the product code, color scheme, and a possible release date. For now, the Nike team has not yet confirmed the release. The model uses the "Black / True Red / Iron Grey / Bright Concord / Aquatone" color scheme. The release is scheduled for the Summer of 2025. The exact release date is not known at this time.
