Jordan Brand is launching two new Air Jordan 5 Retro collaborations during Fall 2025, including the "Black / Racer Blue" colorway.
UPDATE 11/21/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via Instagram), the Air Jordan 5 pair is scheduled to release on September 19, 2025. For now, the brand has not yet confirmed the official release date.
Information about the collaboration initially surfaced on Twitter, where Sneaker Files mentioned that it might be a DJ Khaled or Awake NY collaboration. Later, multiple sources (including Sneaker Files) confirmed that Awake NY is set to collaborate on the Air Jordan 5 in 2025. However, the product code (DV4982) has previously been used for DJ Khaled collaborations. The left shoe has “WE THE BEST” embroidered on the heel and visible through the translucent outsole. The pair comes in the "Black / Racer Blue / Metallic Silver / Silver / White / Clear" color scheme. It is releasing together with another colorway, "Pink Ice / University Red". The collection also includes apparel in the same colors. For now, the brand has not confirmed the release rumors. In general, they avoid confirming rumors about limited-edition releases.
