After a busy year of releases, the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Georgetown" is set to make its debut on November 10, 2023 on Nike.com.
Although the official nickname is "Midnight Navy", the color scheme is clearly inspired by Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with the model considered a tribute to the famous Georgetown Hoyas team. Using the team’s distinctive colors, this pair of Air Jordan 5 Retro applies "Midnight Navy" to the upper, while the sole is dressed in "Football Grey", a light grey tone that Nike has used on several models. The materials differ from those normally found on this silhouette, with the entire upper constructed from textile materials and suede. Contrast is provided by the icy blue outsole and the black-colored details and accents, as well as the black Air Jordan logos.
