UPDATE 11/19/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via Twitter), the Air Jordan 5 pair is scheduled to release on July 26, 2025. For now, Nike has not yet confirmed the release date.
Originally released in 1990, Jordan Brand will celebrate 35 years of the Air Jordan 5 next year. In addition to the famous Air Jordan 5 "Grape" returning during the Summer of 2025, the brand is also launching the "Fire Red Black Tongue" during Fall 2025. This color scheme has been released three times so far – in 1990, 2006 and 2013. This colorway is part of the original "OG Colorways" created for the AJ5 silhouette. The 2024 version comes with a white upper (although it may lean more towards light grey than white), a red and black sole and a black tongue. The number 23 appears on the lateral side, representing the number Michael Jordan wore for almost his entire career. The release date has not yet been confirmed, but we already know the pair is dropping during Fall 2025.
