
Nike is launching the Air Jordan 5 "El Grito" on September 12, 2024, celebrating Mexican culture with a design inspired by local architecture.
Jordan Brand is celebrating Mexican culture during Fall 2024, releasing a themed Air Jordan 5. The entire upper comes in a light shade, dressed in slightly yellowed white (“Sail”). The tongue features a Jumpman logo in a reddish brown (“Dark Pony”), with the same brown tone used for the inner lining. The “El Grito” color scheme incorporates laser-engraved details on the leather toebox and heel, inspired by local ornamental architecture. The pair comes with a lace accessory reading “VIVA” and a set of mismatched lace locks (one green, one red). It also comes in a special box with the same ornamental details. The model will release in a unisex size run from 3.5 US to 18 US. The suggested retail price for this limited edition is 210 dollars.
