Jordan Brand is launching a Chinese New Year-themed footwear collection during Spring 2025, which will include an Air Jordan 5 Retro.
UPDATE 01/09/2025: Nike released official images today of the new Air Jordan 5 Retro "Chinese New Year". The pair is launching soon on the Nike SNKRS app and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores.
Information about the Chinese New Year collection first surfaced from KicksFinder on X (formerly Twitter). They mentioned that besides the new Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG, the brand will also release other models as part of the anniversary collection. Among these is an Air Jordan 5. At the moment we do not know what the model will look like, but we already have a mock-up (attached below) showing a possible color placement. The pair with the “Year Of The Snake” theme is scheduled to release during Spring 2025.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro "Chinese New Year" is scheduled to release during Spring 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro retailers.
